New Pete the Cat Book Giveaway and a Freebie, too!

Are you as excited about the new Pete the Cat book as I am??
I asked Nikki at Melonheadz a couple months back to create some Pete the Cat artwork to accompany a Pete pack…and she did NOT disappoint.  The artwork is ADORABLE and ever since she sent it to me I have been working on a GROOVY new  Kitty Cat Pack that includes activities for all three books…even the new one!  Which brings us to the giveaway.
To celebrate the release of the new Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons on Tuesday, I am giving away a copy of the book along with my newKitty Cat Pack!

To enter the giveaway, all you need to do is follow my blog 
(which I hope you already do =)
 and leave a comment below telling me why you love Pete.  That’s it.  
Giveaway runs until Wednesday (May 2) at 9pm central.  
Feel free to share the giveaway with folks,

  58. I follow your blog and LOOOOOVE Pete! I love the books because not only do my kids "plead" that I read the story but when the I put on the song at te end of the day- the kids eyes light up with excitement and they all are engaged and have it memorized by the end of the year. I'm going to have my kiddos perform it at the end of the year for the parents! =)

  97. Pete the Cat is the BEST!!! At my school's book fair one of my student's bought one of the Pete the Cat books. They were super excited so I downloaded the song and the whole class started to dance to it:) The books have been a HUGE hit in my class:) I love your blog and would love your new pack:)

  98. We love Pete the Cat! I started the year with Pete and my Kdg kids loved him. Pete books are used as a reward for good behavior. I love when my kids break out in song – they would do the whole story if I let them. I also love that my Charles always says "Goodness, No" instead of no! Love your blog too. Looks like a great unit!

  103. I love Pete the Cat because I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet both Eric Litwin and James Dean! Mr. Eric performed at my school way before the Pete the Cat books came out, and I met James Dean at an art gallery! My excitement about this (small) personal connection to the author and illustrator carries over into my love of their collaboration into children's literature, and my students can't help but pick up on that! I dressed up like Pete for our character parade this year, too!!

  144. This is absolutely adorable. My first graders LOVE Pete the Cat!! We sing his songs at least once a day. We are always using the tune of rocking in my school shoes to sing about everything. They would love to have this pack!! Thanks for all of your super cute ideas!

  147. My first-grade students and I absolutely LOVE Pete the Cat. We love how nothing seems to get him down and he just keeps going along, singing his song. I have even heard my students telling each other "don't worry, it's all good!"

My 4 year old was reading and singing to the first book many days after I shared it with her for the first time. He's just got this magic about him! Oh, how I would love to win this!
